Last year, I scrolled through my phone and realize Last year, I scrolled through my phone and realized I had way too many photos of Tino (our adorable stuffed dog—IYKYK) and only a handful of me, thanks to Mark, the photographer. Even fewer of the two of us together. So, it basically looked like I vacationed solo with a plushie. 🙈   This year, I made it my mission to remedy that. So apologies in advance—you’re about to see a lot of our mugs — ecstatically happy in the homeland! (Don’t worry, Tino still managed to sneak in his little mug for a cameo or two. 😉)   From Venice to Florence, Elba Island, and Rome, we stumbled upon some seriously fantastic finds. If you’re planning a trip soon, save this as your private treasure map! 💎💼 And of course, Tino’s working on a day-by-day video recap (he’s much more of a stand-up comic and host than I am), but here are some highlights, complete with the links to what counts. Regarding food, if I ate it but didn’t name it or tag it, it’s not a gem. Only gems spoken here. 🤫   Venice pix 1-5 1 Bar Foscarini: Hands down, the best views while watching the world sail by. TY @brucesomersjr for the reco. 2 Aperitivi hour…again. 🍸 3 St. Lucia train station ft. Chiesa di San Simeon Piccolo in the bg. 4 A cozy, rainy-day trip to Cannaregio (the Jewish district) where we found a cute bar serving amazing local wine. (tagged) 5 Ahhh, Venezia… mi mancherai. 🌧️ Lots of gelato stops along the way!
